It was my first Educational Conference I attended as usual visitor. The location St. Virgil in Salzburg was very useful. The Wifi was a little bit weak some times (as Martin already mentioned) and it seems that the eInfrastructure is more important than one thinks sometimes. A lot of the participants where hunting sockets, especially close to the rooms where the sessions took place. Even more important were the Tracks, Forums and Keynotes and I want to sum up my Impressions.

Personal Learning Environment – Schools out
Over at pontydysgu.org I found this nice presentation about PLE’s and theyr oppurtunites. Definetely worth to watch. And if you are interested in PLE’s and VLE’s you should keep an Eye on Daniels and Martinas Blogs because they will soon publish their presentation on that topic as well.
Enthusiasm
Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with all your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your object. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

eLearning – Concept for a Seminar
I am giving my first Seminar at the University of Hamburg this Semester. It is a lot of fun working with interested and motivated students and it is a lot of work to arrange a seminar for those students.
I decided not to use one of the established plattform which are supposed to support seminars here in Hamburg.
Reasons to work with a Blog and Wiki in Seminars
I decided that i’d like to try to work with a weblog-wiki-combination for my seminar as I am always praying telling in my workshops. Weiterlesen
International Seminar at the ZKM
Between 3rd and 6th international Seminar we had our fifth international Seminar for ePedagogy Design. This time it was held in the ZKM in Karlsruhe. One of our Focuses was the YOU_ser Exhibition.
I liked the FLICK_KA which is obviously related to the Photosharing Service Flickr. There were also some “usual” Seminar Program. Our dutch Fellows had some presentations about what they’re teaching at the Inholland University what was quite interesting, but too sad that we can’t take some of these Courses. Especially the course from Lynda Deutz seemed to be very interesting.

Wikipedia as a Mindmap
Imagine you could see Links in Wikipedia as a Mindmap. WikiMindMap is a tool to browse easily and efficiently in Wiki content, inspired by the mindmap technique. Looks interesting. Try it.
Happy New Year!
To all my visitors, especially to the ePedagogy fellows a Happy 2007.
Blog interaction
Tony is asking in his Blog how peaople are interacting with blogs.
I like this question and I also like to answer. I hope his blog will receive my trackback.
Now his questions:
- Do you only read the RSS feed?
- Do you ever click to the blog post itself (as opposed to the links it provides – which would be on another blog)? If so, why did you click?
- Do you ever leave comments?
- Do you ever read comments? If so, how did you find them?
- Yes, usually I only read the RSS-Feed.
- If I want to write a comment or if I expect more of the post than delivered via RSS.
- Yes, usually I leave comments. If someones articles might be interesting for my readers to or if I want to leave more than a comment I write an article and try to send a trackback.
- I read only comments if they offer more Information or opinions relatet to topics which seem to be very interesting for me
Dear guests, what about your interaction habits concerning blogs? Would you prefer to get only teasers via RSS?

Zielgruppe: Öffentlichkeit – Theoretische Grundlagen und praktische Umsetzung von Öffentlichkeitsarbeit

Kathrin Voss
Thema
